Scopewall

For social, content and SEO retainer agencies

You sold 12 posts a month.
You delivered 15.

Scopewall counts every post, article, reel and revision round against the retainer your client signed. When they go over, it writes the change order — quoting their own contract back to them — so the retainer has the awkward conversation, not you.

  • ✓ $99/mo for up to 10 retainer clients
  • ✓ No card for the trial
  • ✓ Clients approve without an account

“Can you do two extra posts for the Saturday pop-up?”

78%

of agencies only sometimes or rarely charge for out-of-scope work. The top reason given is avoiding the conversation, not missing the request. (Ignition agency survey, 2025, n=273.)

“12 per month”

Your packages already count things. Scopewall keeps count for you, and starts again on the 1st.

$99

a month for up to 10 retainer clients. One approved extra post at a typical rate covers it.

Your package, counted. The extras, billed.

You know the retainer says two rounds of revisions. So does your client, roughly. By the third round in a busy week, nobody's counting — and raising it feels petty. Scopewall does the counting and writes the change order, so you only have to press send.

01 · Paste the retainer

Every “per month” becomes a counter

“12 social posts per month”, “4 blog articles per month”, “two rounds of revisions”, “3 backlinks/month” — each one becomes an allowance. Monthly ones reset on the 1st. Exclusions (“paid social advertising”, “photography”) are kept too.

02 · Log what they ask for

It lands against the right allowance

Paste the Slack message or email. It counts against the matching allowance, or gets flagged billable when the allowance is spent, when it's excluded, or when the client calls it “the third round”. Anything unclear goes to you, not a guess.

03 · Send the change order

The contract makes the case

Each line is priced from your rate card and quotes the clause it rests on. Your client opens a link, reads their own retainer back, and approves in one click. No account, no login, nothing to argue about.

What your client actually sees

Not “we've gone over”. Their retainer, quoted, next to a price. The conversation stops being about whether you're being difficult, and becomes about what they signed.

  • ✓ Every line quotes the retainer clause it rests on
  • ✓ Priced from your own rate card; edit anything before it goes
  • ✓ Approve or decline from a link — no client login
  • ✓ You see what's unbilled, what's waiting, and what's recovered

Two extra social posts for the Saturday pop-up

Your retainer includes 12 posts per month (“12 social posts per month across Instagram and LinkedIn”). All 12 have been used for September 2026, so this one is additional.

Questions agency owners ask

Why not a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet counts. It doesn't reset on the 1st, spot that “can you translate the posts” is an exclusion, or write a priced change order your client can approve. Most agencies have the spreadsheet — the overage still doesn't get billed.
We already use ClickUp / Asana / ManyRequests.
Keep them. Those track tasks and hours. Scopewall tracks deliverable counts against the retainer and bills the difference. It sits next to your project tool, not instead of it.
Our contracts aren't that tidy.
If a line counts something — posts, articles, reels, backlinks, newsletters, revision rounds, hours — it becomes a counter. If it doesn't, you'll see exactly which lines were read and can add an allowance by hand in a few seconds. It never invents a rule that isn't in the document.
Do I have to log every post?
Today, yes — one line per request, or nudge the counter with +/−. That's the honest limitation right now. Connecting your inbox and Slack so requests arrive on their own is next.
Does my client see Scopewall?
They see a change order with your agency's name on it, from a private link. That's all.
What if we cancel?
Cancel from billing settings any time. No contract, and — yes, we see the irony — no allowance on how many times you can change your mind.
